Avera Marshall Home Health Services offers a wide range of services created to help people in their own home environment. These services include home health care, home medical equipment, clinical respiratory services, diabetes education, medical nutrition therapy, assisted living and Hill Street Place congregate living.

Avera Marshall's HomeCare agency is a Medicare certified, Class A home care agency which provides skilled nursing, physical and occupational therapy, maintenance care, private duty and personal care attendant services, home intravenous infusion, and maternal and child home health care services. These services are provided by registered nurses, home health aides and therapists and guided by case managers who work to assure optimal patient outcomes. Assisted living services are also provided at Hill Street Place and Boulder Estates.

Medical Equipment for the Home specializes in medical equipment and clinical respiratory products and services to help individuals live more comfortably in their own homes. Equipment includes ambulatory aids, bath safety products, breastfeeding supplies, adaptive supplies, lift chairs and hospital beds, to name a few. In addition, vascular support products are available along with post-mastectomy supplies, complete with certified fitters for customer satisfaction. Clinical respiratory products include nebulizers, home oxygen and CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) equipment.

The Diabetes Education Center helps people of all ages learn to successfully manage their diabetes. Staff work with patients, their family members and their physicians to design a program to meet each patient’s needs. A registered nurse and a dietitian, both certified diabetes educators, help patients learn to plan meals, test blood sugar, incorporate exercise, use medications and adjust to new feelings.

Hill Street Place offers a comfortable environment for those looking for community living with an active social program. This facility is located on the main campus of Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center and offers tenants several styles of apartments, noon meal service, transportation assistance and supportive services.
